Sam Andras is a founding Principal of 2WR + Partners and holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University. Under his leadership, since the studio’s re-establishment in 2001, the practice has grown to include offices in Columbus, Georgia and Denver, Colorado and has collaborated with dozens of repeat clients across the country.
As the son of a general contractor, Mr. Andras has built an architectural career with a focus on constructability and an eye on long-term quality. His experience from working in his father’s family business as a young professional has provided him with a strong understanding of construction means and methods far beyond that of a typical architect. Additionally, his ability to collaborate with construction professionals in alternative delivery methods of today’s projects has led to tremendous schedule and cost-saving achievements for the 2WR team.
His desire to create a collaborative, team-oriented environment has led to the design success of 2WR’s projects and to the retention of the strong, cohesive design team working in their studio today. In addition to his leadership role within the 2WR studio, Sam also actively serves on the Facility Advisory Committee for Georgia’s University System. Sam also spearheads 2WR’s outstanding charitable support of the communities in which they live and work.
