1516 High Uptown Apartments
Columbus, Georgia
2WR Architects partnered with a local developer to design 1516 High Uptown Apartments, a multi-building residential complex featuring 75 new units. The project includes three newly constructed buildings alongside the preservation of three historic homes, blending new development with the site’s architectural heritage.
Located in the heart of the city—just steps from the TSYS campus and within walking or biking distance of downtown’s restaurants and amenities—the community serves as a key connection to ongoing development extending west and north along Second Avenue.
The apartments, offered in one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, combine a North Columbus aesthetic with the convenience of downtown living. Interiors feature large industrial-style windows and nine-foot ceilings, creating bright, open spaces with a modern edge.
