During his 20-year career he has led a diverse range of projects including recreational centers, higher-education facilities, medical complexes, K-12 schools, and office and institutional structures. His experience is extensive with both new construction and renovation commissions as well as nuanced adaptive reuse and historic restoration projects. Many of the projects under his leadership have received awards for design excellence from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and leading historic societies.
Michael is recognized as an industry leader in high-performance building systems and employs an unmatched passion for excellence in every project detail. His leadership responsibilities at 2WR include managing and coordinating project teams, the supervision of document quality control programs, and maintenance of a consistent eye on all project schedule and budgetary requirements. He is also responsible for driving the firm’s technical advancements in building envelope design and other critical sustainable design measures. This role is key to our practice’s success, and in today’s evolving regulatory environment, his research and assimilation of these technologies within our projects is critical to our success.
