2WR Architects designed Aaron Cohn Middle School in Midland, creating a sustainable and modern learning space. Our team strategically used the site’s challenging topography to optimize the school’s layout. This approach improved efficiency, supported sustainability, and helped achieve LEED Certification through energy-efficient strategies and natural light optimization.

The design also allows for future expansion. The three-story classroom wing can extend as needed, and additional playing fields can be added without disrupting existing facilities. With modern technology and eco-friendly features, 2WR shaped a high-performance school built for 21st-century learning. Additionally, the design ensures flexibility, allowing the school to adapt to evolving educational needs.

Thoughtful Design for a Middle School in Midland
